So, what is critical thinking? I know that everybody already know what critical thinking is. But some people still don’t understand the meaning of it. Critical Thinking is Thinking concept that contains analysis facts, evidence, or arguments to form a statement. In other word, Critical thinking is the ability to analyze information objectively and rationally, then make an informed judgment based on your analysis. People with critical thinking usually ask alot of high quality question to get the right prespective of the statement. For me, critical thinking is very important in lecture or work’s discussion. There is a strategy when someone want to ask a question, for example QFT. We can use it as a template when we are going to ask a question. QFT stands for Question Formulation Technique.

Given the statement “Success is only for talented person”.

First, Produce

In this step, we are brainstorming new questions as many as possible, then change the statements that we’re made into questions.

• Is successful person is always a talented person?
• Can someone without talent be successful person?
• Is it important for someone to have talent in order to become success?
• How someone become successful person without any talent?
• Is there any evidence or example in real world that shows only talented person become successful?

Then, Improve

Right now, we’re going to label the question as open or closed. Describe the advatages or disadvantages of both types of questions.

After we labelled the question as open or closed question, then we need to select the best 3 question. So, my top picks are

The last but not least, Plan

Finally, after we select top 3 questions, we need to create a plan to use the questions for whatever inquiry.

Information :

Successful person are not always talented person. For some reason, talented person sometimes is a successful person. They know how to sell them self, having a good personal branding, or use their talent as part of their job. But there are some factors that talented people can’t be successful. The factors are luck factor and hardwork. Of course talent without hardwork is wasteful. If you are talented person and you’re also hardworker, you gonna be a successful person. But these people can’t be successful if they have a bad luck. Luck it’s very important factors, people with no talent nor hardwork still can be sucessful with luck.

Task :

Go find hobbies or things that you’re interested in, then learn it very well. Start doing from what you’ve learned and never give up. With the knowledge and talent that you’re develop overtime and keep the hardwork, you’ll become a successful person easily.

At the end, Reflect

From the QFT process, i learned how to think critically and asking a high quality questions. I also learned to not too quick to agree with others statement. From that, i can making a good decision with critical thinking. So my conclusion is, i’m not totally agree with the statements. But if we add hardwork to the statement then i’ll go 100% agree with that.
